"When I envisioned opening Foundation First Childcare Development Center, my goal was to create a center that would prepare children for their journey through academics.
I have first hand knowledge of the importance of student preparedness to tackle reading and understand informational and literature text. Furthermore, in the State of Michigan Kindergarten is not mandatory, so it is imperative that the foundation of literacy is a top priority at our child care center. Our vision is social learning through play, with a focus on literacy and mathematics during the formidable years."

ABOUT US!
Foundation First Childcare Development Center is located in the Bagley and University District community on Detroit's west side. Our Center was founded by Mrs. Capri Scott, a K-8 certified educator with over 20 years of expertise in a child-centered academic focus and structured curriculum teaching.
We are himama certified subscriber which allows us to have effective parent communication. We are committed to providing a state-of-the art learning center in a safe and clean environment in accordance with COVID-19 and social distancing protocols.
