Our Childcare Programs

Foundation First Childcare Development Center offers an atmosphere where children are exposed to diverse backgrounds, while participating in activities that build self-confidence, and conflict resolute that are paramount to children succeeding in school. Within our structured learning environment, your child will grow and develop under the care of our skilled and trained staff.  

Our dedicated staff is encouraged to share positive and challenging behavior with parents to ensure that both parties can work together to develop a plane that will be a positive outcome for everyone involved. 


We will provide students with the opportunity to learn foreign languages as studies have shown that children who are able to speak multiple languages learn faster.  Speaking another language allows children to connect with other cultures.  In addition to our childcare programFoundation First serves children 3-4 meals/day. The meals and snacks we serve meet the requirements of the  Michigan Department of Education Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Infant Care

Age: Newborn - 17 months

Leaving your precious baby in someone else’s care is a major milestone.  Everyone at our center, especially our naturally nurturing infant teachers—will work with you to make sure you and your child are comfortable.  We offer gentle, loving and attentive childcare for infants and young children.  Our infant classroom, is a place where your infant feels safe, loved, and ready to explore.   Daily responsibilities of our infant teachers include, but are not limited to:


  • Infant Exploration and Play

  • Storytime

  • Diaper Changing

  • Adherence to Feeding and Eating Schedule

Toddler Program

Ages: 18 months - 3 years old

Foundation First Childcare Development Center offers an engaging, fun and interactive Toddler program which includes:


  • Literary Arts and Story Time

  • Curriculum-based Lesson Plans

  • Social Play and Learning Activities

  • Snack and lunch 

  • Indoor and Outdoor Play

  • Diaper Changing and Pottytime/Pottytraining

Preschool Program

Ages: 4 - 5 years old

Art Class Girl

Kindergarten Program

Ages: 5-6 years old
